I enjoy the Kashi brand of healthy cereal but don't like paying $5-6 a box for it here in Canada at Safeway or IGA. I have no idea why this product costs $5-6 here in Canada, so I don't buy it here in Canada.  >:( Instead, the cheapest place to buy this product across the border in the US is at Target in Bellis Fair Mall in Bellingham. Most of the Kashi cereals are priced at $2.25 per box at Target.  :D It seems very unfair that Canadians are charged two to three times the cost for this product compared to what US consumers pay. Apparently there is a free-trade agreement in place between Canada and the US. I sure as heck see no evidence of this on most of the items I consume! If we had free trade there would be a rational explination as to why a box of cereal costs $6 in Canada and only $2 less than 30 miles from the Canadian border.
