We recommend the Days Inn Seattle Aurora for Canadian cross border shoppers heading to Seattle for a weekend of shopping.
This clean hotel is located in Aurora which is North Seattle just a few minutes North of Northgate shopping center. It usually costs around $70 US per night which includes their help yourself breakfast. The breakfast has self-serve waffles, apples and oranges, juices, cereals, muffins, milk and coffee. So this saves a couple from spending $15 for breakfast at a restaurant.
In the past we also stayed in downtown Seattle at the Ramada, but as it is centrally located a short walking distance from main shopping core, they charge $100+ per night, and parking costs an extra $10/24H and when you add in the cost of breakfast it comes to $50 or $60 per night more than staying at the Days In Seattle Aurora.
