The Seattle Premium Outlets at exit 202 off I-5 (by the Tulalip Casino) is a major reco for Canadian shoppers wanting to save a bundle on name brand goods.

Last time we were there I bought a Sony DCS-W55 Cyber-shot 7.2 digital camera for $140 (including a 2 year warranty) from the Sony Store outlet. The exact same camera here in Canada  costs about $225.

I also bought a beautiful orange long sleeve dress shirt at Calvin Klein's outlet store for a whopping $9.95 off the final sales mark-down rack at the front of the store. It was the only one that fit me (darn!) otherwise I would have bought several of these fine shirts .. as they sell for $50-$60 here in Canada. That's an unbelievable savings, and you just never see that kind of price cutting here in Canada, unfortunately!

We always love going into the Burberry outlet store just look at their superb merchandise. It is always very, very exepensive and beyond our budgets, but nice to look. A nice winter jacket will still set you back $500, but I gather the same jacket would be a grand here in Canada.

The Coach store is also a good look. From our observations the Coach bags are approximately half what you will pay at the Coach store here in Vancouver on Robson Street. Most bags in the $70-$100 range are $180 to $200 here in Canada. So worth a look if that tickles your fancy.

I suggest budgetting at least 2-3 hours per visit. And if you get hungry (which we often do) the best place to eat is at the Great American Steak and Potato Company in the food court. Their meat and onion sandwhiches are humungous and we always share one between the two of us. Very delicious! (I'm craving one now!)
